Thats a nice combination and the presentation is excellent, I see what you and others mean about being less busy focuses the eye more on the pen.

I can see some marks on the black acrylic, did you wet micro mesh it?

Looks ok, but not your best finish I have seen.

There is circular marks around the acrylic end that need further polishing out, but t looks good, but sorry its not as good as your previous work..:goesred:

With each grade of Micro mesh, finish with the lathe off and use the micromesh along the length. The same as you would with the grain on wood ...:winking::winking::winking:

Micro mesh is to expensive why pay all that when wet & dry is a fraction of the price and dose the job just as well

Micro mesh isn't expensive, unless you buy from TR, but it is handier than W&D as it is easier to see which grade you are using, by the colour if you use the MM pads, also I could never find the whole range of W&D in the same place.

Looks good to me .. Aint that the flash line that you see, and not scratch marks ... :nooidea:

Thanks for your comments and yes there are marks on the acrylic which I did not see until I had the pen under the photo lights this will have to be sorted today
