Rosewood sierra pen and finish with CA
I am not very happy with the result , the blank was about 30mm from a old rose flower . If i dont drill it in the center of the blank the grain colour in the beginning of the blank was more light red :vangry::vangry:

That is an unusual shape for a Sierra Geo, but I like it, I also like the stand you've made, very impressive. The wood of the pen looks very similar to some teak I've got.

Dear Terry about the shape , you think i wust to make it straight or oval it will be better ?
I would like your opinion
Thanks
Giorgos

Geo from the photo the fattest part of the blank appears to be at the clip end of the pen. There is nothing wrong with that just unusual as most other Sierras that I have seen the fattest part is in the centre of the wood. Looking at the photo I like that style so carry on doing it that way as it looks good to me !!!!

Geo the pen shape and the finish you gave it reflect good workmanship I feel the stand suffers a little because like you the vertical pics have to be horizontal for my software program to work on this forum. Try the large piece of background paper coming from a back wall, too much distraction going on. Is the stand a thing you intend for sale with the pen?. Progress Geo when you vary shapes and display methods.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:
