Rrs discovery pen

I believe this could be a one off of this pen made from RRS DISCOVERY 1901 wood. (If anyone believes differently please let me know.). Like I say the wood used is reclaimed wood from RRS Discovery and made with an Antique Gold Ayres Pen Kit. I am wondering if I should keep it or sell it. As far as I can tell the wood is very rare and I could be one of the few holders of this wood. What would it cost to buy such a pen.

If selling I would think due to the rarity of the wood you would need to ask "top dollar"

It's very difficult to answer...
All the pens I make are 'unique' they are all 'special' .... What makes yours more important is the source of the timber. A lot of people do historic blanks and yes they have a few to loads available (with a certificate of Origin). So again yours becomes more interesting /unique?
Should you sell it?.... Only you can answer that one! Yes you could find a wealthy customer with a link to the boat/ship and get good money, then move onto the next.... Or do you have some attachment yourself and then keep it.....
No help I know, but just being honest
I did these(with the help of Davee and Bammer) they contain rust from the Maunsel sea forts, only these 6 were made.... They were raffled in aid of the RNLI and made over £1k....
Its not all ways about chasing the £££s

Lovely & interesting pen there! They were selling small bits of this wood when I was there a few years ago so I bought one, sadly not big enough to make a pen, maybe I should laminate it with some other wood & try, won't be as nice as your though.
