The Salmon Gum Burl is a new wood to me - has a faint pink to the burl which is very beautiful...

Very nice selection / collection mate... Good luck with Snake wood it's got a reputation for splitting as its not too stable...

thank you - yes, on one of them a whole slice came off as I started to turn it, fortunately exactly level with the bushing, so there is a miniscule flat (under the clip) but the rest could still be turned! very beautiful though
