Left to right wood is: Spotted gum, Queensland Maple, Myrtle, Tallowood, and the remaining two are Sydney Blue gum. Stands are made from Black Walnut.

Beaut handy units Ilya the timber is great lovely finish like the decorations great for this time of the year as well. I would like to come over some time and see them in the hand.

Thanks, gentlemen, for your comments. Since most of these wood bits had some sort of voids, I decided to just spray the grinders with nitro lacquer. 10 or so layers. It is very tough, so should withstand years of use.
