hello folks

finally got around to turning the box that I posted about in this thread

it was a bit tricky to make as I had removed too much wood when roughing it out which left me with not many design choices and a problem of proportion. so to help solve one problem I used a piece of ebony to create the male tenon and an accent band.

The black band gave it height and open character with delight inviting use. The timber fascinating the finish appropriate another for the glass case mate absolutely beautiful.
