Had no choice, it was a "request" 'cos my son refused to buy his missus one and said" I'm sure dad will make one for free",.............. Kids! :rolling::funny: The airers do seem expensive at £90 though.

What he got was the frames made out of reclaimed floorboard and slats from some spare beech, he'll have to sand it and fix himself, I've left the rope long for adjustment and I'll be checking with a spirit level on Christmas day. :winking:

Nicely done Bob.
You do realise that from now on, every prospective purchase will be preceded by "let's see if dad came make us one first":bwink:

Might be a bit awkward when it comes to a new telly!:funny:

Thanks for all the comments guys and a very happy Christmas to one and all.

I dropped off the airer this morning while passing his gaff, both at work so it'll be there for him to fix tomorrow. I even provided the screws and wall plugs so no excuse and I know there are no pipes or electrics he can drill into above the radiator where it's going 'cos I built the extension.

Been making the little-un a hammering / peg toy thingy today, (not a Christmas pressy) so she can annoy the hell out of her mum and dad. It's called retribution for what he did to us
Still needs sanding and finishing.

Iphone pics on the kitchen bench again :goesred:

Might make her a better one Jim that can stay here for when we babysit. Maybe out of hardwood with rubber facings on the mallet and pegs. Either that or earplugs. :funny:
