Notable by their absence these days I'm afraid John. There used to be a large annual show just outside Edinburgh, but that stopped maybe 5 or 6 years ago. Whether it was under supported by the punters, so the retailers didn't turn out, or whether it was under supported by the retailers so the punters didn't turn out, I couldn't say. But either way, it was under supported, and is no more.


The only one I know of, (which has capitalised on the demise of the other by taking on its old  name of Scottish Woodworking Show), is hosted annually by Brodies Timber, near Dunkeld in Perthshire - so not too far for you. It's on 20th and 21st October this year.
