First time in the shed for ages..







Found a bit of Yew for a tealight holder!

Skinny Slimlines are most useful and in metal make sense in timber they provide a thin veneer of wood prone to so many failures. Yesterday it came home to me in spades when I discovered the top of the pen literally fell through the top brass. Selected a double coated Gold top firm as a foundation. In a skinny brass and oversize top splits are assured.

I like your journeys in metal very much.

I prefer you to call them "reclaimed" Ted, scrap metal just doesn't sell it for me.

I always like to see what you do with metals Ted, always pleased with the outcomes, especially with this one, the mix of copper and ally go well in my opinion.

I also like the "slim look" as I like the sleek lines.. Top marks especially with the nice center band as well.
