Hello I’m new and from Cheshire,
I would like to tell you a story, if I may.
Today a very old and dear friend came to visit and brought me a present, he said he was given it by an elderly gentleman and asked to find it a good home, he also added that he had no idea what it was.
When he opened the car boot, there sat a variable speed scroll saw, (that much I did know) Now I’m a beekeeper and make all my own equipment and I instantly saw a place for it in my workshop, to make bee related pieces.
Now the hard bit——— It’s a Briton BT125 made near Oldham in Greater Manchester in 1990’s.
I know nothing about it and have no manual, the motor works and the machine vibrates but it would not cut wood OR sponge, but did cut cardboard.
It’s history may lay in that it came from a school long long since demolished.
Any HELP would be gratefully received.
Bob
