I have found that these coated slimlines are usually not very end user friendly in so much as the coatings wear off very quickly (only lasting a few months if it is an every day user) leaving a very tatty looking pen .I will use this one as my every day pen and report back my findings on wear and tear properties of this kit latter on. I also found with this particular kit that a pen press was not necessary for pressing the nib cone into the tube as I managed to just by pressing it in with my fingers..maybe some glue will be needed later to keep it in place. I see it as no better or worse that most other fancy kits on the market at this present time.
