Correct Jim ..looking at it in the hand it gives the appearance of having a distressed finish giving the whole pen a 'Lived in look' I would call it an Antique Bronzed finish which really doesn't come over on the picture. It looks very nice. If it comes though the wear test I have ideas for a range of pens for it.
