Kindly given to me by Ed, I've used it to dress a streamline and given it 10 coats of ca makeup

Lovely pen & well finished Paul :thumbs::thumbs:

Ed was kind enough to send me some Sea Buckthorn blanks, the unfinished timber looks a lot lighter than on your finished pen, it will be interesting to see how it turns out with a different type of finish.

It went darker when I put the ca on Doug.

I presumed that was the case Paul, I will try one with friction polish & Hutt wax :thumbs:

That sounds good Doug, it might go even darker with wax. It is lovely wood to turn, I can see that the beaches are going to be soured for this in the summer.

Bet it's sprouting like mad down there.:funny::funny::funny:

This lot came from just over the water from Terry...North Lincs.
