Second Phoenix pen

This is my second Phoenix pen from Woodturningz, this one in gun metal. This is also my second Kirinite blank, this one blue pearl. I have to say, this Kirinite blank, like the first one, is stunning! I didn't like the first Phoenix pen I made very much, but I like this one a lot better, maybe because of the blank.

Like the first Phoenix pen I made, the spring in this one is too stiff. I switched it out with the spring from a different pen, and it works better. And just like the first time, the other pen works fine with the stiffer spring. Odd.

That blank is a beaut Jim, not my favourite kit but you've made a smashing job of the pen :thumbs:
