Second Rhino blank

This is my second Rhino blank, called Earth's Core. The pen is an Executive in gun metal. Another amazing blank. And they're inexpensive, too, compared to other blanks. The Dragon's Fire blank I turned earlier was $9, but the Rhino was only $3. I also really like the Executive kits. Very inexpensive compared to other kits, yet they look like an expensive pen. Very happy with this one.

I must say, I wasn't very impressed as I was turning the blank. It looked rather blah. But it really came to life as I polished it.

Two items drew my attention the marker called craftsmart (white?) and the centre marker (cute). Never seen either before do tell.

Thought there might be a miracle marker my experience with paint markers has been fraught but I am willing to try again I wanted an excuse to go to the new giant Bunnings we now have a few, the nearest one minute from ours.

Thanks Mark.

Peter.

Peter.

The paint marker is silver, extra fine point. I got a gold and silver one from a local art supply store. I got Sharpie brand first, but they both stopped working.

I got the center finder at Woodcraft. Isn't it cute? It's functional, too, and the perfect size for pen blanks.
