Take a guess
For the last few years I & a few like minded cabinet makers have met up at Christmas for a meal & a catch up, this year it was suggested we run a secret santa.
The general idea is to make a present from wood, I always find this kind of thing a nightmare as most of us have all the things we need that we could make ourselves, so I decided to make my recipient a pen.

I chose Cocobolo for the blank but wanted to embellish it in some way, though as my recipient is a down to earth Yorkshire man I didn`t want to over do this.

This is what I came up with, on a Jr Gents chrome roller ball kit with aluminium & black plastic inlay.

Now all I`ve got to do is make a presentation box :thinks:

Now I like that Doug. Very well done with the scallops. Just another way of doing them. Great job and thanks for showing. I am sure the recipient will love it.
