Hi, Guys,

Here's a beautiful Timberbits pen and blank (PB035). From having turned this blank in the past I know that the brass shows through those pearly bits, which adds to the overall appearance.
Wet sanded to 600, two polishes of Brasso, and a couple of licks with Hut Chrystal polish to give a shine.

Still a good looking pen Bob .. I have made a few slimline pens using this blank with Copper accents, really goes well with the tubes also .. :bwink:

query from a newby (great pen by the way) when you can see through the blank after turning does that mean the next time you use that type of blank it would be better to insert a coloured brass insert. :goesred:
