Segmented Acrylic Cyclone Rollerball

Continuing my journey into segmenting, learnt how to do staggered scallops and this is my first effort using Acrylic. Deep red and Cream Pearl with white acrylic between the segments. Cyclone from Beaufort Ink, Gun metal with Black chrome accents.

Thank you Mark, I'm getting a bit obsessed with segmenting now; can't stop watching videos on the tube & then applying the techniques used in my workshop. I'll post more photos, as and when they're completed.

Thank you. No to casting. The white material is 1mm thick styrene, which I got on ebay. The light blue blank is from Beaufort Ink, who are only a 30 minute drive away, run by @Phil Dart , founding member of this group.

Again lovely colours...very nice crisp lines too

Thanks Mark. The blue blank was cut on a bench saw. I've made a jig for getting very accurate cuts; then used CA glue with activator to attach the white styrene strips, keeping a steady pressure on the strips as they dry.
