Wow Alan,

That's awesome, id love to be able to do segmenting but i only have a small bandsaw with no fence it does have the angle guide though ??
I like the finished pen too of course and the pen stand, did you make that too ??
its something id like to try ;-)

Thanks for your comments, Lance.
If you have a mitre guage for your bandsaw, all these cuts can be done. You may have a bit more sanding to do, though.
If you can make a sled for the mitre guage that can cut 45 degrees accurately, then segmenting should not be a problem.
Once you can cut 45's then cut 60/30 triangles and you will be flying.
