Following on from my first two Norwesters, I still had part of the blank left over, Sapele/Maple & Bloodwood, so I thought I'll make another with a twist. Having drilled the blank with appropriate drill. I cut the blank into 7 segments, using a bandsaw. Then, using mixed epoxy, stuck each segment on top of each other with. a slight twist each time. Clamp the blank firmly and allow to set overnight, if necessary.

When epoxy is cured, square off the ends and mount on the lathe with bushes. Turn pen blank to size/shape and sand to 1200 grit, both directions.

Apply choice of finish, I use 3 coats of Acrylic clear gloss. Press pen parts to complete.
