OK I was in the shed and thinking of the segmented competition which is counting down very fast. I was having a clean up and thought how long to make a segmented pen, at 10 to 3 this afternoon until now taking off 1 1/2 hours for eats tea breaks and answering the phone to a fellow turner.
I came up with this from bits found in the shed. Would I do it again yes but I would not use clear perspex but then all I had was the red, white and clear and only enough of the red and clear to do this pen.

That's great Derek and it does show that you can produce something if you want to, I'm sorry but I can't enter that into the competition as you have posted it here first:sob:

In Bali I walked up a lane to a village following alongside a six foot snake with I thought a tiny mouth turned out to be one of their deadly Krait snakes. Like your pen better.

Peter.

I had better wait until the next comp then Peter:whistling::whistling::whistling:

Just out of interest there are 33 pieces in this, it was great fun trying to see how long I still think that I could have cut this down by 1/2 hour if I used accelerator for the CA glue
