Segmented pen kit

My first attempt using the segmented pen kit, the wood is Plum. Not sure I like it but having 5 more kits to make up I'll have to see if others like them.

Hi Glen thanks for showing but the kit is awful, workmanship the turning and finish spot on but its a no no from me for the kit

Hi if you want to see a naff kit done well Johnny 5 is your man....but a nice piece of turning and finishing there...it just dosent do it for me either:wink:

I'm glad all your comments are like mine. The only way of finding out is to buy a kit and try it, unfortunately because of the postage being fixed I bought 5 for the same postage. I just wish you could buy one at a cheaper postage. Looking for a fair ground to give them the tatty pens for a stall prize instead of them giving away gold fish.
Good job I live in Southport I could go to the pleasure beach, unless you have any other ideas. ( not rude )

I'm in agreement with the majority here. Nicely turned and finished but awful looking kit :thumbs:
The worrying thing is that someonedesgned that kit and liked it enough to mass produce it :rolling:

Well it does give us a look at a kit that we may have been unsure of Glen, sure it will help make up our minds whether we should invest in some or not .. :winking:

Good workmanship in the making of it though Glen .. :thumbs:
