segmented pen with turned case

Made this for the wife yesterday as she keeps hinting about getting an upgrade. Initially a new pen was not what I thought she was on about, but thats another story.....
made the segments from Purpleheart and Pau Amarello and capped that with paduak. Then set about making the box for it whike the blank was drying. Surely that will get me at least one extra weekend in the shed:nooidea:

Very nice Brody, what more could a woman ask for. The segmenting is very nice, turning excellent with the perfect shape and finishing is lovely too. I like the box as well, it is a great idea and should result in a lot more than a few days in the shed.... you might even get a beer or two!:funny:

Brody your selective choices astound me with the piece de resistance the Pen Box above all the most interesting combination worthy of a magnificent present. I had visions of my wifes carry bag thinking in this collection how effective such a pen box would be and yes
a royal idea yours quite unique in my experience
