Got sick of segmenting failures so finished this for my own use which has been on the go for a while. I wanted the brush handle to match the tru-stone razor but could find a bit big enough so decided on aluminium, trouble was that the only piece I had was square section and it was a bitch to turn.

The razor is to fit Gillette "fusion" blades rather than the usual Mach 3 and crap photo as usual, nothing set up. :goesred::whistling:

It's OK Bob but I think an ally razor handle would be better, it's neither one nor t'other init

Fair play on the finish on the Aluminium Bob, especially as you started with square section. I bet your teeth are still chattering

Yep I'm of the same opinion Brian and I have a length of ali already drilled for the razor as I have a second fusion kit, ( that's ali is square section as well :sob:) but I like that pattern of tru-stone so much I really want to match it up.
I've searched everywhere for it though not even sure what it's called as was one of the ones I bought from PeteB before he scarpered off to Ireland.

It's a nice set, but you could have segmented the trustone with the aluminium and made matching components:devil:

Very nicely turned Bob. Both the brush and razor handles but as already mentioned, they would have looked better in the same material
Square section aluminium? I bet that was fun :whistling:
