Here is my first attempt that worked today using Tiger Oak , two of the buggers split along the grain as I was finishing them :sob:

I think the grain in one of the photos looks like ghoulish :thinks:

Ooooh I can see that painting the Scream in that 2nd and 3rd picture.

Very nice pen that.
Spooky, When I first posted this item I wrote that it looked like the scream painting and then I deleted my post in case you all thought I was mad :shocking:
