Hi i like the sierra pen kits but have read on the internet that the kits can unscrew themselves instead of retracting the nib has anyone had this problem or is there a trick to prevent it from happening.

The mechanism on Sierras are screwed in to replace the refill and need to be nipped up just a bit to stop it being unscrewed rather than the mechanism working Alan.

Alan,

I had a customer bring one back after replacing the refill, (6 months later) they had undone the end and not tightened it up after.

It was soon resolved and after explanation has never had another problem with it.
