Hi All,
You may remember a post I made recently when I had a blow out when turning the blank. :sob:
I have managed to stick it together and finished it off as best I could.
Hopefully the next lot I make will be pretty good first time :winking:
I hope to get better pics tomorrow

No evidence of adhesion there except where the part was glued to the brass with the glueing mate does the glue adhere OK to this type of finish on the brass? I have always wondered perhaps someone has done testing with different glues and or painting or prepared brasses with these blanks we need all the help we can get they are time and effort consuming. Thanks Don.

Peter, there are places where you can see air pockets and when I stuck the pieces back together I did it on the advice of a forum member. (I can't remember who but you know who you are). He said to use 2 part epoxy as it dries clear. So it was off to Poundland and bought some new tubes. It worked  I will get some pics today and post them with the name of my inspired friend.
