I got in from work, straight in the shed, drilled the blank and glued the tube in.
Had tea.
Went back to the shed and finished the pen

I was waiting for someone to spot that :bwink:
I might have taken it a bit close the to the tube at one end and a small bit of wood came away :goesred:
I tried to fill it with CA and shavings. But it just kept popping out
So I put the wood on the other way round and used the clip to hide the bit where you could see the brass :face:

I would have taken the lot back to brass and drilled another blank but you can still do that when it splits all the way down init?

Yes it's a beauty, but agree with the barrel being the other way up.
