Last night as you all saw 1st pen in my own new workshop didn't turn out so good as you could see by cuts in wood. Found out today that my belt was on the wrong pulling and speed was 1000rpm.
Put belt up to 2000rpm and seems to cut better as you can see from the photos. Pen not fully assembled as at present I don't have a small vice nor a pen assembly kit...
So let me know if any better???

Well done for assembling your pens turn some nylon or wooden plugs to fit on your lathe headstock and tailstock and use your lathe to press your pens together jobs a good un
