Thanks to Neil and Gary for taking my stock of pen kits - I found a couple of extras and couldn’t resist making them up as a swan song ?
First one is an alpha with bog oak and elm and the other is a mistral with self cast of paua shell and black resin. I made about 20 of the Paua shell blanks and they’re around here somewhere but I’ve tidied up which is never a good thing ??
The other picture is of some buckeye burl which I could say I’ve cornered the market on with over 100 pieces so will welcome any interest there??. When I was making them I had two finishes one was the light yellow tint and the other was natural. Sold like a bomb?
I’ll miss the pen making but have gone back to silver and gold smithing where I often recycle clients forgotten jewellery into something they can wear or pass down, included one for show.
