My Drain kept her silly pink bling pen in one of those cheap nasty flip boxes on her desk so the grandchildren wouldn't see it to play with.
Better still it was out of my ear sight init? (far to loud enuf)
She ran it over with her desk chair and fat arse on it breaking it to pieces.
Beyond repair she asked me to make one, I came up with this thing rough as a badgers arse and still unfinished when I shot the pic.
Make from a single piece cut from a Oak kitchen worktop

Thing is while doing it I could see an easier way to get a goodly result and actually have a very presentable desktop pen display.
Gonna try it tomorrow and see what comes out init?

Thats the good thing about design and build Brian you always find a easier/better way and in 2-3 tries you end up with a cracker :thumbs:

That looks very interesting Brian, I'll watch with interest.

How do you get away with those comments about your other half, can't she read then. :funny: Make me smile anyway.

2nd attempt today, still not perfect but the principle works, just needs a little tidying.
If anyone is interested I have done a little tut on my website as its a bit much to upload here.
When perfected which won't be hard now I could do a pdf, you could easily make your own and better than mine from looking at it.
Next effort will have differing woods to hide the joins or at least make them look like they should be there.
