Sirocco in a lucky find

I got given a very old large board of an unknown wood from a local National trust property. It was still complete with saw marks and black on the outside.
When cut, I was surprised to find some lovely green wood. I presume Tulip wood, the property had a large old specimen cut down a long time ago.
Just thought it would go well with my first Sirocco.
