A nice kit I saw for a very thick lead sketch pencil. I had a padauk blank that I decided to try. Very dark wood but easier to turn than I expected. I wanted a natural look so after sanding sealer I used friction polish and microcrystalline wax to finish. I enjoyed making this last night.

I really fancy the sketch pencil kits but the leads are all too dark for me, I need an HB or (preferably) 2H. Looks nice though, nice contrast with the chrome and Padauk.
