Made a few of these for my local church fete, sold quite a few last night.

All had genuine certificate from Jerusalem.

Plan to get more made ready for first holy communion dates next spring.

Great looking pens there John, nice finish and. Simple shape.. just remember to clean down the lathe and not leave olive wood shavings all over it for a weekends as it known for being corrosive on metal.. But I think you would have to leave it there for quite a while..:goesred:

Lovely pens, Johnny! Striking grain - and I'm jealous! Why? C'os I was turning a Bethlehem Olive blank the other day and it blew up on me!:sob::sob::sob:

John,

They smell neat when turning can excite people with that certificate and you bothered to make them different I have never seen that cross before. Most appropriate for communions. Done well mate.

Kind regards Peter.

Super stuff Johnny, lovely wood and I like the centre band on that euro. You've certainly made a good job of turning and finishing them both.
