This is my set that I managed to get finished today..

Must give over playing and start to turn pens again.. seem to have been in the cave for a long time and not achieved much..:nooidea:

Bocote wood with friction polish finish.

quite a dark wood to take pictures of.. can't really see the grain of the wood in the picture..

As you say Eamonn they are a tad dark in the pic, but I know they look great from past experience of seeing your work.

I know what you mean about being in the man creche and not turning, I keep going in there and not coming out with a lot. A lovely pair of pens there, nicely turned and finished.

No mistaking that distinctive Bocote grain pattern even if the wood is darker than usual, lovely pair Eamonn, nicely made :thumbs:

Someone please solve the dark and meaningful pic problem in the meantime I like the shape of your pens, the dark timber show is my problem with digital as well coming from B/W where detail black and white were necessary the Groom invariably in dark suit and the bride in mostly white for so long.

Yep nice pair Eamonn,

I too know what you mean, go into the shed, come back out with nothing but a trail of dust following me into the house, ''what you made?'' says Paula, ''more bloody holes, getting as bad as Neil!!!'' Made three things I think since Christmas & only happy with 1 of them!!!
