Turned these today for customers who I gifted a pen, they also want a JR Gent in olive wood which I will do tommorow.

These 2 are london plane and burr elm finished with friction polish, supplied 2 pictures of each pen, one rendered and one raw just to offer a different perspective

Not too impressed with the kits, some of the clicky things are oversized or out of round so don't fit and some of the brass ends that go onto the nib end of the tube collapsed while assembling :nooidea:

Thanks Jim,I bought 15 kits end of last year or there abouts, used maybe 7-8 kits so far and could pick a fault with half of them,I fixed the issue by swapping bits around...putting oversized parts with undersized ones, etc

Good looking pencils Matty, I like the shape you have formed on them.

A lovely pair the Matt, the second photos are so much better, removing that cloudiness.

I like the shape on the bottom tubes:thumbs: it's a shame there were problems with the innards, though.
