Slimline/Streamline…blaaah!!

Keep getting mixed up between streamline and slimline.. again this evening used the wrong bushing for the Streamline, ended up having to turn down the centre band again! Gotta figure out how to stop doing this!

You got there in the end and it looks fine. I have never turned a slim line or a stream line.

Just inspect the centre band before you begin Alex. If it's the same diameter as the other parts it's a slimline. If it's larger it's a streamline. The only difference between the two in practical terms is the diameter of the centre band

I turn without bushing between centres,bought two brass calipers {small size} glued them locked at the centreband and tip measurement,when turning to the clip end allow larger,you cannot go wrong.
