Love the pen Kevin  but it's not " just an acrylic blank " I bought some of those from Vince at The Turners Workshop and they're special IMO. I made an Omega set last year and I've kept the other blanks for quality kits.

Beautiful pen Kevin - finished to perfection. Had a look at Vince's site and can't find that blank. What is it please?

I can't remember, might be some of the Conway Stewart blanks, it's a while ago I bought them and at the time there were only a few of that colour though I also bought some other colours as shown in the pic of what I have left.

Drop him an email with a copy of the photo and he'll tell you if he has any as not all his products are on the website.

Kevin my have bought his elsewhere and he did a great job as you need to be careful and use sharp tools to turn them well without breakout as they can be fragile. Results are worth it though.

Cheers Bob.

Have done as you suggested and await Vince's reply!

Take care,

Thanks Kevin. Have contacted Vince. This is all handy timing; since joining I have seen terrific work as well as yours and I am "reinvigerated". Penpal also to blame! I'm also going to have another go at wooden blanks and will try melamine. Cheers!:thumbs:
