I just had to do something as I have been busy with other things. So a quick rummage and found some box blanks which I cut off of the corners of planks which I turned into bowl blanks.
This is Elm and finished with sander sealer and carnauba wax.

Thanks, guys I was just bored so had to turn something but there may be a few boxes in the future as I have some things that I want to try on them.

Nice box Derek Is elm readily available? It's a lovely wood.
Alan

I picked this up as a couple of biggish logs but you can still buy it from places like Home of wood who supplies blanks for woodturners
