Turned this pine cone blank for a Zeta today and found these two air pockets. Now some (the missus) might say it's part of the character of the blank, others (me) that it's a reject.

No matter how I tried, I couldn't fill them with thick or thin CA :vangry: any ideas please anyone?

Thin CA will fill them, no problem, you may need to use a needle to burst the bubble.

Or sanding wood dust pushed in with a suitably sized implement. You can colour the dust to whatever you want. Push it in and pack it tight, then dribble some thin CA onto it, which will wick into it and set firm.
