I've had problems with snake wood splitting months after the pens were made & sold. They were perfect when I sold them. There is no clue as to whether a pen will split or not.
Yours are beauties Robert & I hope they stay that way.

Yep all my Snakewood has split, some almost immediately and some has taken months but it still split init/

The only one I have kept is sound as a bell after 15 yrs. like true African Ebony its a lottery.
