I couldnt wait for TB to send the Roman Harvest that i ordered :goesred:

So I had a trial run using a Sedona Fountain pen and a Snakewood blank.
In my haste i forgot to square off the blank and left a small gap at the base of the writing end :sob: what a T***
Friction polish and wax finish only, I do not like using ca glue as a finish and i heard it causes a heat reaction and splits the wood

Never mind , Learning the hard way , It wont happen again :thinks:

Yup, I like that.

I too have moved away from the CA finish and am using polish, I have a Sierra that I've been using for an everyday pen for 5 months or so and it hasn't deteriorated at all.

Very nice indeed Johnny, love the wood .. :bwink: If it bothers you about the gap, then i would suggest taking it apart using transfer punches if you have some, it would be a shame not to ..:bwink:

Well Done Johnny, Like Jim says it don't take much to take them apart and you could then carefully square up the end..
Anyway a brilliant pen.... Keep it up.....:thumbs::thumbs:

Enjoy your beaut pen.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:
