I had my reservations on the architecture of Mr Dart’s latest creation but the reality was different from the web pictures. I used some cellulose actetate that I’ve had a while, and after the issue of how to increase the id of the predrilled hole had been overcome the material proved to be fabulous.

The mechanism on this pen is the smoothest I have ever come across, it’s a lovely kit, I’ve got about fifty of these acetate rods so will be making more of these in the near future.

All joking aside I am slightly confused, have you used a pre-drilled resin blank that you have drilled a bigger hole through and then finished it with CA?
