Two filigree pens one in Honduras Walnut the other X cut Oak these were given to me by my son they are from Axminster not a very good kit in my book
Three slimline real crap kits from China an old friend gave me and a mate a load of these kits and the mate sent the remainder of them to me thanks :face:in Walnut sycamore and spalted beech kits to be avoided

I've just finished the three Filigrees that you get in the bag for £14.45 and even with my limited knowledge I'm not impressed with them ; mind it was good practice for doing cap band tenons for me, so not a complete waste of money !:fart:

I agree with your comment on the filigree Woody, but not on the slimlines, with these kits all you need is imagination ... :thumbs:

Jim believe me they are real bad kits the color chips of very easy and you have to clean the paint of some of the bits so that they fit inside the tubes they were less than a pound each kit

I agree with the silly fab of the colours Woody, i had two for a very long time and just left them there until i the idea of staining some wood to match the colours, my grandson loved them lol ...
