A lovely timber turned into some great looking bowls Woody. I don't seem to have time for bowls at present because of other things getting in the way.
The lower bowl looks enough like our Osage Orange to be a twin. Osage was used as fence lines and had to be bull strong and hog tight. Works very well green but old and dry is damn near impossible to cut. 100 year old fence can only be burnt. Ruins a chain saw like a steel pole. Cut green its piss yellow but eventually turns very dark brown.
I really like the end grain bowl. Will its colour change?
