This pen has made an appearance here recently thanks to Jim if I am not mistaken. But here it is along with another with the same theme. I made these blanks some time ago.

The first is a Roman Harvest rollerball kit with Black ebony and Holly segmentation. It was finished with 8 coats of med CA and polished.

The second pen is also a Roman Harvest rollerball kit with Bloodwood and Maple segmentation. It too was finished with 8 coats of med CA and polished.

It was me John, and i still say that these are the best handcrafted pens that i have ever seen .. The craftsmanship that has gone into these is amazing ... :thumbs:

Truly amazing John, seen them on IAP and agree with all the comments on there., relly really stunning.

I have seen quite a bit of your work and can honestly say its al inspiring to all pen turners.

Thanks for sharing them on here and its great to see someone of such high repute to be sharing it with us on here..

I truly love these sort of pens, but i can't be arsed making jigs, it would be great to buy blanks of this quality off the shelf .. If we could afford them that is ... :thumbs:

I ain't got any jigs but I'll give it ago soon and I'll post it for a laugh...:winking::winking::winking:

Lovely John - I never get tired of seeing those. The IAP thread got linked to here because you showed a few pics of your jigs, although now I see these lazy gits can't be bothered to make jigs ... It was a sad day indeed when they outlawed public flogging.

Ok David, what i should have said was ..... "I don't have the time" There saved me sen a floggin ... :tongue:
