Made the Omega from a gorgeous piece of timber sent to me by our Paul M. One of many beautiful pieces of timber sent actually. cheers Paul. Ca sealed but knocked back with micromesh and waxed. And a bolt action with a lovely bit of Bocote. One of my favourite exotics

Bocote. aka mexican rosewood (It isnt a real rosewood, called that in a vain attempt to elevate the status of the wood and increase the value). Beautiful timber, my best seller on bolt action pens. Prefer the bolt action.

Summat wood

Lignum noideaii leguminosae
Can vary from white to black, be dense or open grained, works well / badly. Has a moderate / no blunting effect on tools, and takes a finish well / badly:devil::funny::funny:
