Joint project with my son, Lexus GS300 front seat converted to a computer chair. Electric's for lumbar support/ adjustments and heating still work via 240/12v transformer.

Proper! How much work to get it mounted on the castors? Is it well balanced? It is immense.

Intruding here but the electrics should only mean providing 12 volts to the harness plug or socket on my seats the controls are at the seat mate. I will be keen to learn what its like on the Lexus as well. You need two seats Mark one for the dog.

Castors mounted to original base mounts, just needed 2 holes drilling and 4 bolts...The seat once centralized is more stable than standard, due to weight i think.

That is a great idea Ian,:thumbs:been thinking along the same lines my self but using a Mazda 6 seat, be interested in how you did the electics.

All i did was use a small 12v transformer bolted under seat, then wired outputs to original seat plug.

As you say the controls are on the seat itself, if you bought a seat with switches separate. you would have to re-think design. We don't have a dog :sob:
