I would be tempted to do the boards on the cnc that could do a much better job than me but I won't be frightened of them now.

I have made a sorry start on a stick handle tonight, dunno what the wood is, it's part of an ols sill board if anyone can give a clue?

Can ya guess what it is or will be?

The Griffin was supposed to be my next thing but the wood I picked up was too open grain and the shape of the offcut I saw a swans head so that is what this will be.
A long way to go yet, this is rough cut, if it don't fall to bits I'll continue with it.

Bugger!!!!
I got it wrong again dad

It's been called everything from a dolphin to a serpent including duck and snake.
Your turn now, give it to me init?
This was it earlier today.
Trouble is I see a bloody dolphin and I don't sure what I am carving now.
