Hi, Guys,

Boy, this is brill! Last year our good friend, Woody, sent me some of this apple. This piece was a bit punky but took a chance. Am I glad! This is probably one of the best Sedona fountain pens I've ever turned. Had to apply several coats of thin CA and BLO to stabilise some areas, then finished it with four coats of friction polish. As you can see - the pattern is wild!

That is a gorgeous piece of wood Bob and applied to a lovely kit like that you've made a fantastic pen.

That's a real good 'un Bob ..you done that apple justice .. I used a piece of the same to make a mini Euro which Mrs Ed snatch before it was dry ,so to speak.
